Family Photos, Why?
I've always been a believer in taking as many photos as possible and as annoying as it might be to some people, when you look back at those photos and relive those moments, it's so special. With our fast-paced lives and how quickly the kids grow, photos are our memories.
In 2016 I lost my Dad to a heart attack, I saw him in the morning and then he was gone.
Last year I lost my Mom to a very difficult battle of Emphysema and Pneumonia. Although I always tried to keep up family photos and photos of my parents with my kids, I look back at photos and there just isn't enough.
I think when you have your loved ones around especially Grandparents you live in the moment most of the time and just carry on with your lives. Life is so short and that quote "you don't know what you got till its gone" only becomes real when it happens to you.
I was very close to my parents and keeping their legacy alive is important to me, I want to tell their story as they did about my Grandparents when I was young.
So if you ask me, what do I regret now that they're both gone? Besides the obvious, more photos...
Tip: Frame your photos, we live in such a digital age, print and frame!
